Renee and Ben are an amazing couple with a great wedding!! They had a picture perfect wedding at Maple Hill Farm B&B in Hallowell. If Jason and I could re-do our wedding this is where it would be!! I fell in love with the place the moment we drove down the road. It has such a beautiful scenery, including wild flowers, fields, a big red barn and llamas!!

Here are the highlights...

I loved the personal details the staff put into the day. All the rooms had the names of the guests on the doors when they arrived for the weekend.

Renee's mom, Tessa, passed away about a month before the wedding after a long battle with cancer. This story still brings tears to my eyes. Renee carried around a picture of her mom on her bouquet so she was with her the entire day.

I'm so glad I get to type this instead of saying it out loud - another part of the Tessa story that makes me teary. When Tessa was first diagnosed, her and her husband started collecting pennies and upon making a wish they would place them in a jar, heads up. When Tessa passed away, Renee's dad tried giving her the jar of pennies. Renee refused to take it saying that those were their wishes and hopes and her and Ben would simply need to start their own jar. So that's what they did with the help of family and friends. On the back of all the place cards were glued two pennies, heads up, and the guests were to take them off, make a wish and place them in these containers, heads up.

The two best men gave the greatest speech ever. I know there is a video floating around the web somewhere, I'll see if I can find it. But I loved the reactions that came through out the speech.
